Performs analysis of business requirements, designs and develops software components, ensures quality process, coordinates with customer on delivery and deployments. Works in team environment and provides technical guidance throughout the entire life cycle. Responsible to meet customer expectations, troubleshoot problems in the application and assist customers in implementation decisions Responsibilities:

  • Must have recent direct experience in translating business requirements into rules, Blaze Rule Templates, business object models
  • Act as technical lead of automated underwriting software solution development, through the life cycle including significant contribution toward developing project plans, coordinating team staff assignments, and monitoring projects against budget and project plans.
  • Development of new rules or projects in FICO for programs as needed
  • Analysis, design, development and support of the production processes and applications.
  • Provide recommendations on how we move forward with new development efforts.
  • Mentor support personnel on the FICO environment and rule development
  • Should have experience as Blaze admin in application deployment and server management.
  • To evaluate and recommend different appropriate product solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Ensure software quality processes are adhered to, prepare the required documentation of technical architecture and design are completed and communicated in a timely manner.

  • Participates in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design
  • Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements
  • Consults with end user to prototype, refine, test and debug programs to meet needs
  • Creates technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements
  • Serves as technical expert on development projects
  • Identifies and evaluates new technologies for implementation
  • Creates/maintains documentation for software functionality; project planning; evaluations; budgeting, feedbacks and improvements
  • Provides estimates, budgets, project flow, client updates and meeting expectations along with keeping up to team aspirations
  • Minimizes risk, prepares for risk mitigation, keep project on track
  • Manages user requirements; provides timely project updates
  • Analyzes codes to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed
  • Provides feedback for performance appraisals of team members
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
  • Minimum 18 years of overall IT experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in developing business rules using FICO Blaze
  • Expert / Experience in Rules modelling. Eg Unit Rule/ruleset/rule template/rule flow/atomic rule composite rule/decision table / decision tree.
  • Expert/Experience in Fico Blaze Advisor Rule Maintenance Application (RMA) setup, administration and development. Experience in exposing BRE rules to JAVA Web Services and EJB Experience in Java application development
  • Good analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience in migration of rules from one rule engine to another
  • Experience with scaling
Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $119,350 - $155,000.
